This modern house sits on one hectare of land, and offers contemporary living among grazing sheep, olive orchards and breathtaking views of Serra da Ossa Mountains and Evora Monte Castle. In spring, youll be mesmerized by the wild flowers surrounding you with purple, yellow and white flowers that seem to go on endlessly. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors frame the breathtaking views while allowing you to easily flow outdoors to the beautifully landscaped property surrounding the salt water pool and outdoor kitchen. This property offers everything you need to immerse yourself into the Alentejo lifestyle.
This villa located in the countryside, just 15km from the capital of Alentejo, is in perfect condition. In fact, its modern architectural construction has been built in 2010, and the owners have carried out multiple works this year, which turns it almost new.
Access to the property is via a small road which connects two villages. The entrance gate has a camera and can be controlled remotely. The property, of almost one hectare, is rectangular and completely fenced. To the right of the access path, is an orchard with many fruit trees. And at the end of the orchard, there is a shelter for storage, which has a window and electricity.
The villa is located at the back of the land on the left side. It is L-shaped around the relaxation area and the swimming pool, oriented to the North-East, with a clear view over the hills of the Serra d'Ossa.
The front facade of the house is decorated with a few olive trees. To the right, there is a porch for parking two cars, with an entrance door opening onto a hallway.
This one provides access, on the right, to the laundry room and in its continuation to the technical area, which has a direct access door from the terrace. Following the hallway, we find a social toilet and finally a large fully equipped kitchen with an island. The kitchen has a sliding bay window to access the covered terrace, as well as a door which opens onto the barbecue area. To the left of the barbecue, there is a small outdoor toilet and, opposite, the access door to the technical area.
On the left of the front façade, there are columns which surround a small garden and the main entrance door to the house. This door leads, to the right, to the large living room with a wood fire burning insert, which has two large bay windows opening onto the covered terrace of the garden and another one opening onto the land which extends to the entrance to the property. To the left of the front door, is a wardrobe inserted in the wall, then we reach the corner of the house. Turning to the right, the corridor extends in order to access successively : a room which can be used as an office, a bedroom with an inserted wardrobe, a bathroom with a bathtub, another bedroom with an inserted wardrobe and last the master suite, with its walk-in closet and its private bathroom. The bedrooms and the office, as well as the suite's walk-in closet, have a tilting French window opening onto the garden. The suite also has a sliding bay window overlooking the fields at the back of the house.
There are mosquito nets in the living room, the kitchen and one of the two bedrooms. The four access doors to the house are security doors.
The front and side facades of the house have numerous vertical windows which allow light to pass through the house in its width. The large area of glass on the walls on each side of the house offers unrivaled natural light and the privilege of admiring the view over the fields from inside.
The relaxation area, protected by the L-shaped facades, is fenced and consists of a covered terrace, a barbecue area with a sink, a lawn and a salt water swimming pool with a sand filter. Many trees have been planted there recently. Beyond, the view extends over the fields to the Serra dOssa where the sun rises.
There is a borehole, being used for the swimming pool and for automatic irrigation of the lawn, as well as each of the many trees and plants on the property. It is also connected to the city's water, sewer and electricity networks. The electricity is three-phase and there are three electrical boards in the house.
It can also be connected to fibre for internet. Currently, there are Tv & internet sockets in each room, provided by the phone company.
Two solar panels power the heat pump. Air conditioners are installed in the living room, the suite and one of the two bedrooms.
The improvements carried out in 2024 are related to : the roof, exterior and interior painting, parquet and floor insulation throughout the house the borehole and swimming pool pumps, the filtering and salt water system, the irrigation system, security and internet, etc.
