It borders the En 263, which connects Aljustrel to Odemira, developing to the south of it and 2.5 km from the small urban agglomeration of Santa Luzia.
It is a rural area in the heart of Baixo Alentejo, in transition between the peneplain (where the property is integrated), and the Serra de Monchique, in the south of the municipality of
Ourique, in a passage from the dry plains to a more vigorous orography, with higher average altimetry.
In terms of climate, the region has two well-defined annual seasons (winter, cold and little rainy, and summer, very hot and dry, with temperatures often exceeding 40° C), and can be designated as Mediterranean. Rainfall is low, with irregular rainfall regimes, with large variations from year to year.
