Stunning palace dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, with 574 square meters of private gross area, located just 200 meters away from the most famous beach in the north of the country, Póvoa de Varzim. Built in the 1920s, inspired by the Art Nouveau style, it is characterized by the nobility of details of high patrimonial value, namely the plastered ceilings and walls with decorative paintings, the tile panels (painted by a renowned artist from Porto at the time), and pine flooring. It has 13 bedrooms, four bathrooms and parking for four cars. The palace has undergone conservation interventions over time. The last intervention occurred in 2012 where the roof and the outer covering of the facade were totally renewed. The palace is classified as Municipal Heritage, benefiting from the tax exemptions associated with this status (Imi, Imt). It is a typical example of the French-inspired construction carried out by the Portuguese who had returned from Brazil where they had made great fortunes in the sugar cane plantations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
It lies in a prime location, close to all kinds of services and shops, with a wide range of restaurants, terraces and bars, and just 20 minutes away from the Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport. The access to the A28 highway is seven minutes away, making it easy to reach Porto or other destinations. The proximity to the waterfront and the sea is a plus, offering plenty of opportunities for exercising and enjoying outdoor activities.
