Herdade da Pradaria do Sul has an area of 171 hectares and is located west of the district of Portalegre, in Alentejo.
It is a property, flat and very slightly undulated, mainly devoted to cattle breeding. It can still constitute areas with irrigation for fodder for the animals, because it has a water dam, that allows the irrigation of parcels of land for fodder, being able to allow in more than 20 hectares, permanent pastures for the cattle.
It has 595 m2 of agricultural constructions, ruins and a rudimentary house.
The estate is currently being explored in the fields of agriculture and cattle breeding. It is fully fenced and parked. Lots of cork oaks and holm oaks scattered about. The cork oaks, produce about 3 Thousand arrobas of cork.
It has two dams, one of which, the largest, occupies an area of over 3 hectares.
In addition to the existing houses and ruins, it is also possible to install an Agro-Tourism Unit in the property, as well as maintaining parallel farming and cattle-raising.
