Beautiful Manor House sitting in an imposing position at the head of this small village which is ideally situated between Castanheira de Pera and Figueiro dos Vinhos.

Taking the stairs to the first floor there is a seating area with doors to the front balcony which looks over the village to the countryside beyond...an ideal place to read a book. The final double room is again double aspect and has a walk-in wardrobe and doors leading onto the balcony from which there are spectacular views to the mountains of Lousa. The single bedroom also has fitted storage and doors onto this balcony. The main bathroom on this floor houses another bespoke vanity unit and is fully tiled.
From this floor the staircase leads to the attic which is ripe for conversion due to easy access. This floor could be converted into a beautiful master suite with exposed beams or simply used for storage as it is currently.
There is a recently installed solar hit water assembly installed on the rear roof, which due to its positioning receives sunlight throughout each day of the year, producing plenty of economical hot water. The property is on mains water, mains electricity
At the back of the house is a flat walled garden of around 1000 - 1200 square metres. There is double water tank near to the house which can easily be converted to a plunge pool. Towards the end of the garden is the working well and an outbuilding that was once used to stable horses but could easily be used as a garage as there is access via a driveway from the front of the house. This building could also be converted for housing or office space.
Below the house is the lower ground floor which has the same footprint as the rest of the house.... This is where the new owners can let their imagination run wild. Currently there is a spacious workshop and an adega. The other two rooms on this lower floor were used as living quarters for the servants in the distant past. They have windows to allow in light and one has a working bathroom in the corner which could easily be enclosed. Both rooms are big enough for double beds. This floor could be used as extra accommodation or even to house a business venture.
Despite the fact that the house was empty for many years, the vendors have worked so hard to restore the property to much of its former glory and yet have been able to make it into such a lovely home.
Now we anticipate the house's best days are ahead of it as a special home for a buyer looking for something imposing and possibly unique.
