This attractive white cottage with blue doors and windows is located near Ferragudo's iconic church. It is only a few minutes' walk to the beach by the castle on the Arade River and to the village's lively central square with its cosy cafés and restaurants. Inside, the house has recently been tastefully renovated with a new kitchen and 2 attractive bathrooms.

The front door opens into a hallway with a bathroom and stairs to the first floor. To the right of the entrance hall is the spacious renovated open kitchen visually separated from the dining room by an arch. Attached to the dining room is a storage room that contains the washing machine.

The stairs take you to the upstairs living room. Here is an air-conditioning unit that provides heating or cooling for the house. From the window you have an attractive view over the old village towards the Monchique mountains. On one side of the living room there is a spacious bedroom (originally there were two) and on the other side an elongated bathroom.

On the outside, next to the front door is a door to a storage room that houses the boiler for hot water. There is also enough space here to store, for example, a bike or golf bags.

Ferragudo is a unique fishing village on a large river and on the ocean. It has a number of beautiful river and ocean beaches with either rustic restaurants, or decadent beach clubs. 25 metres from the house is already a cosy café on a little square where you will enjoy breakfast. Besides a multitude of restaurants, there are several mini supermarkets in the village, one of which is within 50 metres' walk. A taxi ferry will take you to the other side of the river to Praia da Rocha, with its marina and Portimão's entertainment district or the old town. By car, you can drive to large supermarkets, shopping centres, health facilities, a multitude of golf courses and 2 international schools within minutes. Faro airport is a 45-minute drive away.
