This house stands on a small square 300 metres' walk from the quay of the former commercial village of Mexilhoeira de Carregação. Here it is possible to moor a boat at a jetty and cruise the Arade river. This lovely village with several restaurants and cafés is almost 3 km from the attractive fishing village of Ferragudo with its several sandy beaches. This single-storey house has a spacious living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A special feature is the large roof terrace where you will undoubtedly enjoy the Algarvean climate both during the day and in the evening. Parking is available in front of the door.

The front door opens into the spacious living room with a modern open-plan kitchen. Above the front door is an air-conditioning unit for heating and cooling. To create a light experience throughout, a light shaft has been created at the back of the house above the open staircase to the roof terrace. The large skylight above it can be opened and closed by remote control.
The first bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower and a built-in wardrobe. This bedroom is air-conditioned. The second bedroom has 2 separate wardrobes and uses the second bathroom with shower, which can also be used as a guest toilet. The bedrooms each have their own skylight that brings in light from the roof terrace. These rooflights can be opened and closed from inside (with an extension pole) and from outside on the roof terrace. Both skylights have a remote-controlled blackout.
The ceilings of all rooms have energy-efficient recessed spotlights.

Under the open staircase is the electric boiler for hot water. The staircase with wooden steps leads to the build-up on the roof terrace, with the tilting skylight and an opening door to the terrace. The roof terrace accommodates, among other things, a lounge area, a pergola with a dining table underneath, a movable and collapsible parasol and a kitchen worktop with rinsing facilities. Beneath the kitchen worktop, one of the cupboards houses the washing machine.

The lovely village of Mexilhoeira de Carregação lies on the Arade river. On the other side of the river is the large city of Portimão with all desired amenities. Just 3 km away is the oceanfront fishing village of Ferragudo, with a choice of beautiful beaches. You will already find mini markets, restaurants and cafés within walking distance. A short drive away you will find large supermarkets, golf courses and international schools. You drive to Faro airport in 40 minutes.
