A larger supermarket, shops, cafes/restaurants and all the usual amenities can be found a short 10 min drive away in the town of Ourique. The airport at Faro is a 70 minute drive away (if keeping to the speed limit), Albufeira is 1 hour away and Lisbon is a drive of 1 hour and 50 minutes. The main roads and motorways recently constructed provide an excellent and speedy route to the resorts and shopping centres found on the Algarve.
